MAC

Mac noževi su napravljeni u Japanu, u mjestu Seki. Izrađeni su od čelika s velikim postotkom ugljika (C), sa dodatkom kroma (Cr), vanadija (V), molibdena (Mo) i volframa (W). Otporni su na hrđanje ali nisu potpuno nehrđajući. Vrlo oštra oštrica, tvrdoće 60 HRC je brušena pod izuzetno oštrim kutom od 15 stupnjeva. Oštrina traje dugo vremena i ponovno brušenje je vrlo jednostavno. Ti su noževi poznati po dobroj ravnoteži, zato su primjerni za profesionalne kuhare. Uporablja ih i Chef Gordon Ramsey.

MAC knives are made in Japan, precisely in the city of Seki. They are made of steel with a high content of carbon (C) and addition of chromium (Cr), vanadium (V), molybdenum (Mo) and tungsten (W). They are corrosion-resistant but not stainless. The result is an extremely sharp blade of approximately 60 HRC in hardness, ground under an extremely sharp angle of 15 degrees, which remains sharp for a very long period of time and can be easily resharpened. They are well-known for their balance and are very suitable for a professional use in cooking. They are also used by chef Gordon Ramsey.
